The German hobby magazine from the beginning of the sixties just arrived. They are all VW-Porsche or Enzmann related! Noblesse oblige. This will make perfect literature for the long winter evenings near a romantic fire or under a warm blanket!

The journey started with lots of potential. Slightly raising sun, no signs of rain at the horizon, gently starting the engines and “en route pour l’aventure”, Bitburg Motorpark here we come. A pity Tim’s car didn’t agreed but she will be ok really soon. With such good weather, one could experience how a southern Californian drag day would have been, a perfect mix of oldvdubs and V8 racers. Apart from the drag racing, the superb ambiance and quality time we have spend exchanging memories and thoughts with all these friends made this journey unforgettable. One last word for Olive, always nice to meet you and CU soon!! !

| Cleo just when to customs and local technical control. In a first stage, we’ll put her on classic car licence plates (O), bring her back to as close to original and pass regular control in order she can dressed with normal licence plates. Just need to revise some parts and details but in meantime when can enjoy driving her out. GOSH we love these vw’s.

| Together with Tim, we picked up an early rust free Type34 is Denmark. Apart from the fact she has been manufactured in November 1961, she has also only 43.500 km. Her history goes as follows: "The first Swedish owner has enjoyed his KG from dec. '61 till 1970, where a local dealer bought the car, repaired a few spots and did a nice repaint job in her original Sea Blue color as a point of attraction for his shop. In 2002, the second owner past away and the car has been sold to a Danish guy, who owned a country house in Sweden were she served well during his vacations. And now, in September 2007, after 46 years of well maintenance, she joined the DVF club, where she will remain for a long time and wear her imperfections with proud. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP TIM!!
